Margaret (Trainor) King

Margaret (Trainor) King was born on Prince Edward Island in 1880.  She married Melvin Myron King.  They had three children: Hazel, Alice and Gordon.  Margaret died Oct 15, 1918 of BronchoPneumonia Grippe at age 38 after caring for all the family during the epidemic of 1918. She had several sisters including Agatha and Alice of Lowell.  According to her daughter, Hazel, family was protestant back in Ireland but left during the Potato Famine (1846-48) and changed to Roman Catholic "since the priests influenced who got the jobs in Lowell".
