Sheryl Lynn (Hall) Wittig was born on May 15^th, 1961 in Cordova, Alaska to Robert and Helen Hall. She was the only daughter of four children; her father was an American Baptist minister. She graduated from Mt Holyoke College in Massachusetts and received a Masters in Education from Alaska Pacific University. She worked for several years on Alaska’s North Slope and now is a teacher in Juneau, Alaska. She married Michael Lee Wittig in 2002. Her daughter, Rebecca, was born in 2003 and her son Michael Robert was born in 2005.
