Joseph H Pitz and Christina Angst Pitz
were married in Massillon Ohio in 1892. Sometime after their marriage they moved
to Brazil, Indiana where Joseph found work in a coal mine. Two, possibly three
of their children were born in Indiana and the other seven were born in Ohio.
When they moved back to Barberton, Ohio Joseph built a nine room house for
his family. It is still in use today. I am not sure how Joseph was employed after
his return to Barberton but later on in his life he own a gas station across
the street from his home. He ran the station until his death in l936. Christina Pitz died in 1939. Both of them are buried in Holy Cross
