015 We tried to take a photo with the Bishop and he was holding his staff on Brigitta's side and had his arm around Svea. So we switched sides so it would actually look like it was Brigitta's Confirmation but then he just look confused and switched his staff to Brigitta's side again. So happy Confirmation, Svea!

043 This was the funniest day of my life- everyone but Annika. Story time: As part of the ceremony, the graduates walk a lit candle to their parents to thank them for all they have done. Dad had the idea to give Annika a Handle's coupon as a trade for the candle because that is an *almost* believable part of the ceremony IHM could have set up for all the kids. When Annika comes over with the candle, we all keep a perfectly straight face and Dad solemnly hands her the coupon. She looks at it and we see her face go from confused about why she was holding a random piece of paper, to understanding that we were messing with her, to accepting that she now had to carry it back to her seat. And then we just sat in our pew and cry-laughed for the rest of mass.
