049 The family spent Christmas Evening bonding over walking 2 miles of laps around the house to pack down a ski trail. Dad made these stompers to make the job easier. Dad, please get a new snowmobile.

The girls wrote the above today at about 1:00. Around 2:00 today, after months of occasionally browsing snowmobile ads, I finally found one that was: close, cheap, reasonably reliable (fingers crossed) and the seller would deliver (since I don't have a truck, van or trailer). Only an hour from first contact on the ad, this 1983, 288CC Polaris Star was in my driveway. Things are warming up and my foot stomped trail is melting now; but I'll be ready for the next snowfall. Yesterday I spent 1.5 hours stomping the trail, and then 7K skiing. Today I skied 5K in the morning, 5K in the afternoon and 6K in the evening. 051
