So, the kids wanted to go to Lollapalooza in Chicago on Sunday and we decided to drive them and spend Saturday night in Chicago and Sunday night near the great Sand Dunes in Indiana, an hour closer to home.  While the kids were soaking in music, Joan and I soaked in marvels of the big city.  This photoblog post is heavy on cityscape and skyscrapers.  I tend to avoid these areas, but definitely marvel at their beauty.

I never really understood how much of a city there is under the city.  There are 8 double-decker streets and 5 triple-deckers streets in Chicago.
