This Friday we visited Schnormeier Gardens, which is about two hours south of Tallmadge. Schnormeier Gardens is considered to be one of the top 10 private gardens in the world. It is only open on weekends in June and by reservation only. So, if you want to visit, you need to make reservations in March of 2023. Schnormeier Gardens was created by Ted and Ann Schnormeier in 1996 and includes many Japanese themed: gardens, teahouses, waterfalls, ponds and sculptures. Ted and Ann were very involved in the design of all gardens and Ted was directly involved in most of the actual construction.
