On the 10th they said the aurora borealis would be visible in Ohio. Longer exposures captured more than what the eye could see. We drove out into the country to avoid light pollution and maybe, sort of saw a glow.

My grade 5-8 students built model rockets with 3D nose cones of their own design as well as laser cut fins of their own design. They spray painted their rocket on the field; I made this rack for them to dry on (the rockets, not the students).

I didn't take many photos, but one of our three TARC (ARC) teams qualified for nationals. Joan and I visited Udvar Hazy Center.

My rocket in a tree recovery tools: A 46 foot ham radio antenna, B 8 foot extension, C grappling hook + 550 paracord (hook taped to antenna tip and tears off), D mega grappling hook + cord, E arrow + fishing line (after a good shot pull up paracord and hook), F four 5 foot poles that pin together
