So, there was a digital art in science contest. Svea entered this composite image of lobelia flowers. A good portion of her work involved taking and working with digital images of lobelia flowers. She won the competition, of course.

This is how Joan typically dresses for school. So cute!

Our driveway is just wide enough for two cars in rows. We typically have 5 or 6 cars and 4 or 5 drivers. So parking is tight. We often use the lawn on occasion but when it rains a lot the lawn gets very soft and muddy. I've been contemplating putting in another parking spot branching off the driveway. Several years ago I put two rows of 18 inch pavers down. That was just enough to keep from getting stuck, but it was always muddy around them. For some reason I decided that I could dig this by hand, and move all of the dirt by hand with a 4 wheel garden wagon. There had been some low sunken spots in our front yard that. I put in a perforated drain pipe all the way to the street as well. It was a massive amount of work.
