We've never been happy with our bathroom ceiling; the paint peels, bubbles, mildews, etc. So we installed a corrugated metal ceiling. Soon after installation I started playing with reflective light and we talked about how a neon sign would look under the metal ceiling. In our discussion and marketplace search for neon signs we realized that 90% of neon signs are for beer and a wide aspect ratio is especially hard to find. I joked that the long soffit to the right needed a long word like Constantinople. Joan ran with it and made a Neon style LED rope Istanbul sign that hangs under the window. It slowly changes colors.
