Skiing at Turnagain Pass

Cross country racing skis offer about 3% the control and stability of downhill skies.  Just going straight down a hill in powder snow can be very challenging.  Neon clothes help a lot.

Jumping in Cross country racing skis is just plain stupid.

It's hard to see, but there is a steep drop off at the base of this ramp.  Note that I've dropped my poles; they'd cause nothing but pain on the landing.
