Simple Movie Maker Guide (Vista) Begin: Copy
your raw footage from your camera to your “Videos” folder on your account. Open Windows Movie Maker Click: File > Save Project As… (see
rubric for name) Save your project file to your My Videos folder *
Save your work often! Import
Videos: Click Video (under Import) Navigate to your Videos folder Highlight video file(s) Click the Import button Drag videos to the storyboard Editing
and titles will be guided in class. Publish
Movie: Click: Publish To This Computer Click: Save to Your Name > Videos (under Publish Movie) Enter the proper filename and ensure that
your movie will be saved to your Videos
folder * Note:
do NOT save to the Shared/Public
Videos folder! Under: “Choose a place to save your movie” click the Browse button to choose your Videos folder. Click: Next Choose> Other settings: Windows Media VHS Quality (1.0 Mbps)
Video Click: Next, Finish, etc. Turn
