JULY MEETING SUMMARY: John Scherba told of his experiences in the artillery during the Korean war including housing (mostly tents), food (mostly good), leadership (uneven), military justice ( inconsistent), and friendly fire (regrettable).
The previously announced speaker on the Polish army cancelled and will be rescheduled.

MINIPRESENTATION: Fred Schuld showed several WWII posters encouraging savings
bond purchases. William Wynne talked about “Smoky the dog”, a WWII pet he
brought back from the south pacific.
