APRIL MEETING SUMMARY
Jack Hagar, Clair Alexander and George Towner spoke about their experiences with the 15th Airforce. Dean Smith spoke for Tony Patrino who was not able to attend. They were on bombing missions over Germany, Austria, Hungary and Romania. All 4 had trouble returning to bases near Foggia, Italy. Our attendance was 125.
SPEAKERS FOR 2005: Dean Smith is looking for anyone who is knowledgeable about the proposed invasion of Japan or the intelligence service.

have about 50 biographies to date. At this and future meetings Larry Heller will be
taking pictures of our past and present speakers for posting on the Web Site. Our
membership list is now on the website.
As an addition to our usual “show and tell” Dean Smith will arrange for a few
members (up to 3) at each meeting to give a short (3 minute) resume of their
experiences in the military. At our May meeting the following men gave their resume:
Dick Kesti assigned by the army to work on missile development at the Redstone
Arsenal under Von Braun
Dick Young, a marine trained to be in aircraft maintenance but reassigned to a
frontline combat unit in Korea for about 2 months
