AUGUST MEETING SUMMARY: Wesley Gaab, 104th Timberwolf Infantry
Division, found himself transferred from
fire. His modest account mixing humorous and combat events was well received.
LIBRARY of CONGRESS VETERANS HISTORY PROJECT: Status Report
To earn “partner” status with the Library of Congress Veterans History Project the
Roundtable must submit 25 interviews or memoirs each year. So far we have collected
audio or written materials from the following: 7 Army Air Corps/Air Forces; 7 Army
(includes the memoir of a deceased WW I vet); 3 Navy and 1 Marine. Only 2
Roundtable members have been interviewed. Please volunteer!
