MAY MEETING SUMMARY: John
Sommer , 100th Division , recalled his relationships
with the men in the division from his squad up to the General. After his talk
he mentioned a number of unpleasant memories (diarrhea ,cold, lack of food and
clean clothes)
David Hall introduced one of his 7th grade students ,
Pellegrino Piermarini, who presented a
paper on the military career of Roger Garver. Attendance was 82.

FIFTH ANNIVERSARY PHOTOS : At the October 2006 meeting group
photographs were taken of 41 WWII veterans and 17 Korean War veterans as part
of the ceremonies commemorating the 5th
anniversary of our roundtable. To date 24 and 14, respectively of these photos
have been claimed. The remaining 8x10 color pictures will be available free of
charge at all future meetings for the 20 veterans who have yet to acquire
theirs. See Dave Finch to get yours.

THEME: “Bring Two Veterans”. Personally bring 2 veterans and their families
with you to our meetings.
