"Volleyball matches are a made up of games." -Darn it, I've had that backwards for a long time now. I'll get it right in next year's blogs. IHM won their first game by a healthy margin. This game included the longest volley I've ever seen Brigitta's team have; probably at least a dozen hits. Brigitta got the final hit for the point on that volley. We had to leave after the first game because Brigitta had a track meet at CVCA within the hour. As Bri was changing in the van, I watched her teammate Sara serve a five point run in the second game; we found out later that IHM also won the second game and the match.

IHM won both matches against Saint Hilary, who played with only five players. Brigitta played well and served the game point.

Looking at the EXIF data from my photos, it was only 18 minutes from my last photo at the track meet at the University of Akron to my first photo at the volleyball game at St. Patrick. IHM won both matches. Kasey played a great game and Christina served the final two points. She was elated as was the rest of the team. Sara and Nikki and Brigitta played very well, as always. This was IHM's first win this season.
