Gold Cord Lake Hike July 5th -2014 ~ Blog # 642 (David)
After two rough days of travel and four hours of jetlag, we were pretty worn out but we figured we had better get a hike in early on Saturday because rain was expected on Sunday. Uncle Mark joined us for a hike up to Gold Cord Lake in the Independence Mine/Hatcher Pass area. After being away from Alaska for five years, the view was especially amazing. The girls played at the lake and made snowmen.
